This one's for your feet — and honestly, it's for your knees and low back too, because it all connects. We work through a progression of toe lifts and heel raises to wake up the whole lower leg, then get into the good stuff: awakening the bubbling spring point, weaving the fingers through the toes, wringing out the foot like a rag, and spiraling each toe individually. Your foot is actually spring-loaded — the fascia and connective tissue are set up for elasticity and resilience — and this series helps you get that back.
Most people's foot muscles are dormant from years of shoes and sitting — waking them up directly reduces knee and low back strain by giving the body better support from the ground up
Collapsed arches and stiff ankles are often a mobility problem, not just a strength one — this series addresses both, which is why it can help where stretching alone hasn't
Stimulating the bubbling spring (Kidney 1) builds energy, supports the immune system, and in Chinese medicine connects to our deep reserves of calm and resilience
The more articulate your feet are, the better your gait, balance, and ability to absorb shock — research shows foot and ankle exercises improve balance across all ages
